Behold Camura!

Yes, it is Camura, protector of all that is small and photogenic. 
Camura is good for your skin!  Camura is healthier than tofu!  CAMURA!     
CAMURA is HERE to SAVE THE DAY!

Below are many folders of pictures taken by my friends and I on
various occasions.  All of them provided by the benevolent Camura - an
HP Photosmart something-or-other digital camera.  A Christmas present
from my dad.  Enjoy the pictures. Share them. But as my sister
Laura would say, "Mleah!  Don't judge!  Ow!  Don't poke me, either!
Geez, Bob... You suck!"

Ah, August.  This year saw about three different birthday celebrations (of which
I was a part).  The first was a cocktail party held at our apartment here in 
Pittsburgh.  The second was a debaucherous Monday in Atlanta, spanning the
Sweetwater Brewing Co., Ru-San's Midtown Sushi Bar, Rocky Mountain Pizza Co., 
Krystal's (not shown), and the railroad tracks at night, where trains are large
and loud.  The third party did not have the benefit of camura.
This time we came home but did not take pictures of our cats.

In July, the Jerks came and helped cause a little trouble in PGH for a few days,
I finished my home audio system (enough to take pictures of it), and Amy and I 
visited Jacksonville to hang with my mom and see the sights.
Then we came home and took pictures of our cats.

In June, Amy and I went to California and did Almost Everything:
San Francisco Wharves, Alcatraz, USS Pampanito, a Coin-Op museum, Six Flags 
Marine World (feat.: coasters, water shows, and aminals), the Jelly Belly 
Factory, Redding's Sundial Walking Bridge, Monterey Bay and surrounding areas, 
The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Palo Alto (and a sushi place there we used to like 
going to).
Then we came home and took pictures of our cats.

In this month in 2005: Nothing Happened.

April has the unique distinction of being the only month in which the Jerks
throw one helluva goddamn birthday party, celebrating the untimely births of
anywhere from 3 to 5 people, or more, depending on how many drinks you've had.
Singing the Ramblin' Reck song to ourselves, a pair of 15'-tall racing funnels
was constructed, 2.5 kegs of various Sweetwater beers were acquired, and body
parts of the fallen were strewn across the landscape.  Have some pictures.

March has the lucky designation of being the only month with an internationally
recognized holiday dedicated solely to my favorite activity: drinking like a
crazy bastard.  Glad for the excuse, we made with the party-having.  We also
conned Maggie into flying up to Pittsburgh with lies of warm weather! 
Thankfully, she always knows where her beer jacket is.

What says 'I Love You' like the sounds of angry fucking metal pounding into
every pore of your body?  The answer: nothing.  V-Day 2005 made itself 
celebrated in Atlanta thanks to From Exile, the kids from Nashville, and as
always, the boys on Circle Jerk Road.
But first:  Nitro will kill for olives!

We had an excellent party for some folks with January birthdays.  Camura itself
was not present for much of the night, but some other digital cams were.
The first set of images here are from a free digicam I have that seems to have
died during the night.

Holy Damn, Hawai'i (specifically, Kaua'i) is awesome.  Did some snorkeling
off of the Forbidden Island (which camura did not join me in doing), went to
the Allerton (w/camura) and McBride (w/o camura) gardens, went out hiking
on a rainy day (w/camura), had a happy new year (w/o camura), visited Kilauea
Point, Hanalei, the Limahuli Garden, and the north end of the island (w/camura),
failed to go snorkeling a second time, rode up the mountains near Wailua only
to find them shrouded in clouds, then turned around and flew back to Atlanta.

Facing our fear of the Evil Sand Creatures in the airport, Amy and I went to
Vegas to hang with our dad's and my sister.  While there we did the Dam Thing
(ha ha), saw a shitty Tech basketball game, won some money, lost some money,
ate good food, and I barely took any pictures of any of it.  I'll try and
grab Amy and Laura's pictures sometime.

Finally dustin' this camura off and uploading some pictures.  
Here are random ones around the house, etc.  They express desire and want
as a broken computer chair, and as Nitro wanting to attack the scrolly
Pac-Man on my LED sign.

Will wonders never cease?  Relying upon sketchy information from sketchier
people, Amy and I fly ourselves to Atlanta in search of a Halloween party.  The
very same night we are hoping to find a party, our hosts are informed that they
are, in fact, to be having a party.  Happy 'ween 2004.  Hope you remember more
of it than I do.

So a few of us like to program and play video games.  A subset of those like
to make video games for (they say) money.  Together, we stuffed ourselves into
cars and trekked from the ATL to Austin, TX for the Austin Gaming Conference.
This is our story.

With roots newly shorn, I moved to Pittsburgh to begin the process of acting
like a respectable person.  Here are some pictures of laying around the
apartment, seeing Nitro and Maki square off, and some of the stuff going on
in June at the Point State Park.  Also, the 4th of July Three Rivers Regatta
festivities.

Each of us has our Damned Things.  And they all have to get Done.  This is
known as Doing the Damned Thing.  It is important. :D

Why shouldn't girls kiss each other on camura?  I mean... wait..  what?  Oh!
Right.  So Nine Lives Saloon was fucking rocking like a motherfucker.  Rake Up
the Kids (that's "us" for you people without visual memory) rocked the face off
of the damned place.  Hells yeah.  Then came the unsane stylings of State of
Unrest, followed by Drunkie McDrunkerson at Nate's moving-in party.  Like and
love it, or you shall suffer the wrath.

and so it came to pass that Loren closed down Rocky Mountain as a manager for
the last time...

Part Rocky Mountain Employee Barbeque (OMGWTFBBQ), Part Tricia Bachelorette
Party.  All debauchery, drinkery, pictography, and good-goddamn-mu'fuckin-time.

Goddamn Alcoholic Druggies.  Oh, wait.  That would be us.

The theory is simple.  Drink as much as you want from the pitcher, then pass
it on.  The catch?  If the next person finishes it, you get to pay for it, 
because you should have finished it yourself you pansy fucker.

Kristin done went and graduated from the Ga. State, so she had herself a party
at the Rocky McMtn.!!!  You'd think I would have managed to get more pictures
of her.  Where was she?  Where was camura?  At least we know where Trivia
Monster was:  paying our tab with his questions.

Not too much going on here, just sort of milling about in life.  Some cat pics,
some house pics, some random junk.  Whee.

Yard art is the best when it's performance art, and the one thing we perform
well at is drinking and floppin' about.  Here you will see front-yard
debauchery, me making Alice angry by taking her picture, and Lindsay's
stop-motion drunken skate video.  A-zabba-zabba.

And I had XMas with my family for a bit... :D

After a couple of months of being dead (as you can see from the pictures of
us moving Amy to Pittsburgh), Camura was a guest of honor at the Rocky Mountain
Christmas Party.  Here are the results of that terrible, terrible night. 

Amy came to town!  We went to cowboys, then Chad's party, then we threw a little
gig ourselves the next day!  It was a benefit for cancer, and actually made
some money!  Thanks again to Leon for helping us bankroll and to the party goers
that made us clean our house.
Interestingly, camura did something unexpected and started over after picture
number 9999... Hmm...

We are a collection of silly bastards.  Here are some pictures from a few
random nights at 1121.  We like drinking games, being stupid, and singing
about it loudly for no reason.	

When they're not paying me, there's no reason to be in California...
So we drove our punk asses in my loaded down car back here.  Almost didn't
stop.  GRARRR.  Poor camura saw little use. :(

California is filled with stuff.  Like San Francisco.  And Paramount's Great
America.  And Chili's restaurant.  And... uh.  Stuff.

All that goes east must go west, so we found ourselves headed back to
California.  It's a long damned flight.  Here is the result of our
collective boredom.

Happy mu-fuckin' Fourth of July.  I had one.  My dad and I purchased an
undisclosed amount of fireworks, and launched them, as we do every year.
This time, we documented.  Everything from little stuff on the driveway
to mortars in the sky, to sparklers.  The true meaning of independence is
being able to blow shit up.

The following gallery is an exercise in duality.  Our time in Atlanta went
by very quickly, but our perception of that time was strange and distorted.
While the time between pictures is sometimes days, it is also sometimes
only seconds.  Why did we think it was a good idea to try and document
Rastan?  Why was it necessary to simultaneously document Hunter's 
(in)activities?  Why DIDN'T we document the attack of the Incre. Hulk?
Or the violence of the Numan Athletics?  Maybe I should just shut up and
let you look at the pictures.

Getting around the country isn't easy, even in this age of (mis)information.
Still, it has to be done, sometimes, so here's the set of pictures detailing
our trip from Palo Alto to Atlanta.  We used planes, buses, and automobiles.
Also, we made a visit to Cal's house to admire the beauty of his basement,
large TV, and bullet-hole cable running.

It was a fair like every other.  The police were giving out trading cards,
the rednecks were watching the closest thing they had seen to NASCAR, the 
gun locks were free, the rides were expensive, the beer was plentiful, and
the ratio of lost children to not-lost children was high.  Must be the 
Shasta County Fair!

Here's our apartment in Palo Alto.  Actually, it's mostly just pictures of
Maki running amok in said apartment.  She is insane.  That is why we keep
her around, I guess. :D  Anywho.  Just some stuff of us lazing around.

Graduation and the associated partying.

Amy had a Movie Screening of her DVFX movie.  Then there were pictures of Nitro!
Basically, I had to dump the pictures because Sam hasn't bought me a replacement
memory card, yet, and my old one holds crap for pictures.

We threw a party in the yard.  We had a swimming pool.  We finally had a cop
come to one of our parties.  But we had to try REALLY hard to do it.  In the 
end, he was even really nice.  I don't know how we get to live in such cool
places.  Oh well.  Drink up, assholes.

Kenny had a birthday.  At Rocky Mountain.  We planted ourselves in the ground
using only the powers of alcohol.  Whee.

=cue Zelda item finding sound=.  This is the totality of our spring break.  We
went to West Palm Beach, Florida, got drunk, and made the Zelda sound of 
achievement, constantly.  Many people were accused of cuh-rack suh-moking, 
and a nary an intelligent thing occured all week long.  Hooray for WPB.

Victory over Atlanta Day!!  I mean, Valentine's Day.  You know, the one with
the candy hearts, flowers, chocolates, and spring love.  I mean drinking.
We locked up a whole lot of people in our basement, gave them liquors and
stickers and waited for the making out to start.  Sadly we just had a bunch of
drunken happy people.  I guess that'll have to do.

Lots of crap has happened.  Most notably, Amy and Tricia had birthdays.
Also, I got a cat.  Also, somethina something something.  I need to sort
my shit and make camura's shrine prettier.

Sam had himself a goddamned 21st birthday.  The Library was stormed and many
wondrous things happened.  Most of them involving alcohol.

Nextel Phone fun and Stone Mountain! :)

Never thought I would get me one of THESE, and yet I lives there, now. :)

Someone had a 21st birthday party, was liquored up, beaten within an inch of
his life, and stuffed into a car and taken to Atlanta.  For the life of me, I
just can't freaking remember WHO!!!!!!! :D

Many odd things may happen in the filler time between classes, meals, and
periods of unconsciousness.

Wherein Spring Break was had.  Many dollars were spent and many sights were
seen.  Many Revolutions were Dance Danced, and many Its were Pumped Up.
Further, a vending machine was seen to dispense live fishing bait.  Many
wondrous things are in this world of ours, friend.  Terrible, wondrous things.

And it happened that a bargain was constructed.  One trip would be made from 
Atlanta to Murfreesboro, or from Murfreesboro to Atlanta, each weekend until
mutual destruction was acheived, or said trip was made otherwise impossible.
The consequences of this resulted in one man hanging himself, several 
individuals aging prematurely by 100 years, $40($50?) capri pants being 
mercilessly destroyed, and battles being waged and forgotten.  Atleast it had
a cool soundtrack.

Chattanooga is amazingly filled with good things to do.  Among these is the
Tennessee Aquarium, where for a fee you are allowed to stand behind safety
glass and taunt the dangerous creatures of the sea in air-conditioned luxury.

Tricia's birthday party was pretty awesome.  However, due to an overabundance
of cameras, Camura himself became shy and felt it necessary to hide.  To make
up for this poor performance, images were later captured of boys being inept
with hair dye, as well as Chad as a future proctologist.  ::shudder::

Hooray for Phi Tau golf.  18 drinks, one stomach to put them in.  Mmmm.

With walks across campus, babies, Hooker Grande, a really cool junk truck, 
Tech-Family Christmas, and other stuff, I couldn't think of what to call this.
I shouldn't wait so long between sorts. :)

Two snowdays in two years?!  In ATLANTA, GEORGIA!?  Unheard of!!  We won trivia
night, bombarded each other with snow, destroyed a snowman, fought with the
people who built it, saved a car from rolling down Ferst Street, etc.  Snow
flew all day long, be it from the roof of the Student Center, or the plains
of SAC field.  I am too sleepy to be writing descriptions.

And so we began a new year, with a blurry vision of the future.  Sure, we
didn't necessarily succeed in surmounting all of the hills in our path, but in
the weeks to come we would see with a new focus on life. 

My aunt, Joy (whom I know as Aunt Joy), got MARRIED!!  Right after Christmas!!  
Wow!!  It was kinda neat.  I think that's the 4th or 5th wedding I've been to
in my life?  I dunno, but atleast I didn't have a role in this one. ;)

CHREEESTMAS!!!  More to come!!

A trip to the mall... a trip to Brandy House... a trip to Locos'(I got two
bull's eyes!).... someone's trip to Phi Tau... a trip to Apache cafe (was
it someone's birthday??)...  Thanksgiving wrasslin' at Center Skreet... bunny...
more stuff I wasn't present for.  WHEEE FOR NOT SORTING PROPERLY.

The Shaft, Apache Cafe, mentally impaired arcade fun at Andretti's, hamster-
filled goodness at Center Street, and some random stuff I wasn't present for.

Halloween!!  It happened not once, but atleast twice.  Candy and beligerence
flowed like the might Mississippi.  Between the two Halloweens, Brandon
immortalized himself forever in a folk-style performance that was described by
those present only as "Hahaha.  HaaaHahahaaaa.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!"

So I asked what was on my Camura before uploading, and what
I should title it.  And Meaghan said "It's stuff from Intermezzo
to ... umm... yesterday.  Basically, it's my fall break."  So. 
Here is Meaghan's fall break. :)

MY SISTER CAME TO VISIT!!!!!!!!!!  No, there were no trouble, mom.
We all had a gurd time, and she got some dye in her hair, and we
went a-shoppin' and a-partyhoppin' after the Homecoming game!

A lack of tickets won't stop them Hookas from gettin'
to see a bunch of silly frat boys compete to see who
can shake their booties the bestest!  

Tricia took Camura back to visit her babies again!!!
Why are they so freakin' cute?

I have no idea.  There are LOTS of pictures here.  Most importantly,
pets!!!!!!!  Yes, we have new pets.  Bwahhh!!!  They are Brice (the
Betta Fish), and Gia (the Gerbil).  Hehehheehe.  

Nothin' like two ice-cream runs in a day!!  For those in the
Atlanta area... check out Jake's Icecream on Highland Ave.!!
They are the best.  Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

Arts and Crafts!!!!!!!  Value Village, Home Depot, and Tricia's Mom's
were all stops on our way to furniture-painting goodness.  Woo!

The girls always go to the Library on wednesdays... even if it's
the ACTUAL library. :)

YAY for animals!!  Whether from a store, or from the woods in Athens,
there are lots of animal pictures, here.  And a few crazy girls gettin'
ready to go to the Library!

Let it never be said that getting recipes off the internet is the
best way to learn how to mix drinks.  Whoever posted the recipe
Maggie found for Hunch Punch is a really wussy drinker.  Regardless,
a large number of Eurotrash ravers and punks descended upon Athens,
and all you got were these 200-odd pictures. :)

We were having good times.  Then the World Trade Centers fell down...
Fuck some terrorism, we are going to have good times anyway.

No sooner did Camura finally achieve wholesomeness through baby
pictures, than it was dragged off to Murfreesboro and subjected
to sights, fights, neon lights, and fishnet tights!  Thank God! 

Tricia made off with Camura and brought back pictures of BABIES!!!!

In preparation for the arrival of Amy's MotherTM, Marty and Amy dyed their
hair.  Marty destroyed his "rainbow colors" so as not to offend.  Amy went
with red for the exact opposite reason.  Then Athens was visited and cars
were seen to be booted.  Long stretches of time make it hard to make
meaningful folders, people.

AAIIEEE!!  Camura escapes!!!  To get pictures for a project, Cal and Chad
borrowed Camura, and moving time for the new semester left it floating for a
week!  AIIIEEE!!  It is back, however, and here is the new pictures.

Chad said it.  I didn't want to hear it, but there it was:

HOLY DONKEY SHIT!!!!  Loren and Chad threw the biggest damned party I have
seen!!  How did they fit so many people into such a small area?!  How did
they manage to get so many people there who had NO IDEA it was supposed
to be a PAJAMA party!?  It is far too much for camura.  It roamed from hand
to hand throughout the night.  Lord knows what camura has seen.

Soooo many people!!!  Exams ended for summer semester.  I didn't really have
any, but that doesn't mean I can't drink to the occasion!!!!  What a great and
crazy night.  Thank you sooooooo much to Tricia, hair dresser extraordinaire,
and her assistant, miss Maggie-Rhea.  I have blue hair, now!  Not just any
blue, but BLUE.  Dang.  Give it a look.

And it is now, apparently, on.  The battle of 'Do you want some more' vs. 'Ya
want some more' begins in earnest. :D

Jeez!  Drove to Nashville on a Friday afternoon.  Partied with my high school
friends.  Drove home Saturday afternoon, and as promised by Loren:  I WAS IN
TROUBLE.

Hooray for alcohol.  And cameras.  And Maggie for being such a good waitress 
at Rio Grande. :)

I think the name says it all.  While a few random pictures are in here, this
folder almost exclusively consists of myself, chad, loren, their cat, their
friends, and alcohol.  Who could ask for anything more?  Well, other than the
presence of CAMURA to liven the day!
note: i don't know most of the people I was taking pictures of at the last
party.  I was simply inebriated and in love with the idea of taking pictures.

Chad had himself a 20th birthday.  Then drinks were on Loren.  Much much 
fucked-upness ensued.  We is some trashed kiddies.  Thank God my head doesn't 
hurt this morning.  Hooray for Tricia and Meaghan representin' the Atl. 
Hookas!  Amy was there by phone (yay yay yay!!!!) and I'm sure everyone else
was there in spirit.  Heeheehee.

I went home for the Fourth of Julie!!  Got myself a new dorky shirt from my
grandparents, and BURNED THINGS.  Lots of cute pictures here.

I didn't miss out on THIS particular adventure.  Loren and I headed for 
Nashville/M'boro, and there found adventure, intrigue, and a lot of stupid
people that needed regulating on.  More info on the wonders contained in 
these pictures when Loren's article is up on the jerknetwork. :D

Chad and Loren had themselves an adventure!  I'm sad
that I missed it, but Camura was there to get photos of the aftermath, and
some of random downtown that didn't turn out all that bad.

Not having been there since Christmas (before Camura brightened my life!), I
payed a visit to my mother in Jacksonville, making this the third time Camura
has found itself in that state.  The first time with me along with it. ;)  My
favorite part is that most of the pictures were taken by me while I was 
driving all alone.  Wheeee!

Lots of random stuff went on.  Megan came and lived with her boyfriend for
awhile.  I got new badassed headphones.  Sam and Amelia hung out.  I got paid.
The air conditioner repeatedly froze itself solid.  It was a happy happy
shitty-room-in-dollah-sixty-five.

Loren and Chad threw a goddamned fun Cock & Tail party, and thanks to Gibby,
Camura was there to see it all.  Unfortunately, thanks to ME Camura could only
take one picture every 5 minutes or so, so it was barely used.  

It seems that Sam and Amelia have decided I should be there personal
photographer in all before/after haircoloring events.  More power to them.
I will be dumping all such pictures here. :)

They liked me so much in California they even let me come back!  This time
we were off to visit Amy's "gramma"... she's 95 years old and she will
kick your ass.  On a side note, I had a DAMN LOT of leg room on that first
flight. :D

To them, it's Delta Sigma Phi.  To our friends, it's Dollah Sixty Five.
To us, it's home.  Or like a Russian dissident camp.  You know.

My sister Laura done up and finished high school!  Can't miss that.  Or
the pictures of the split family trying to have a civil dinner together.
HARR HARR HARR!  Oh, and the girl got a Dodge Neon.  Kawaii!!!

I didn't have anywhere to live, but I had TWO CARS in which to not live
it.... or something.  Yarr.

One last squeak project... annd..... DONE!!  *THANK GOD*.  Now all that's
left to do is break stuff and move the hell out.

Not satisfied with their initial reign of terror, Punk 'n' Thug return to
Florida, this time to get the help of Thug's NFL star brother to form the
Ultimate Destructive Force!

Then they came home and everyone got drunk.  No, I do not remember
crawling on the car after the cat or losing my flipflops twice walking
through the parking lot.

These are just random pictures since not much was going on.  There are
lots of good shots of no one being at the stupid Microsoft thing, though.
That makes me happy.

Keyless and confused by the huge Microsoft-sponsored fair that seemed to
be setting up outside of my dorm, I spent Easter at and around Maggie's
Diner. Um.  I had my camera, too.

I wasn't there, but them gurlz went clubbin' in Florida.  Due to an
alcohol smuggling incident, the camera saw only the trunk of the car
whilst they were dancin'. Even so, much of their voyage survived in
pictures.

What can I say?

Shody and Kat came to visit!!!!!  Why?  Ionno, but she took my hat.  Amy
was glad (she hated that hat), but one day it will be mine again.
Perhaps I will use Kat's cake plate as collateral...

When I blue'd my hair, I decided I should put up a picture, but it turned
out that not only was it hard to see the blue hair with the naked eye, it
was IMPOSSIBLE to tell on camera.  Go figure.  Next time I'll bleach
first. :D

Amy had to go home and see the folks, so she decided she would bring me
along... to CALIFORNIA!!!  WHEEEEEEE!!!  I probably didn't take as many
pictures as I should have, but I took lots.  Mostly of Redding/Shasta
Caverns, then San Francisco.  Woo!

I'm not really the best one to describe this, since up until the last 5 or
so pictures, I don't even remember any of it.  I didn't even know I had
had my hair cut until well into the next day.  Aiiee!

After taking pictures of Amy's room for her family, it was off to
celebrate the Super Bowl at Maggie's diner.  Well, more like we were in
Maggie's diner and Joe said "Hey!  Who's winning the Super Bowl?" To which
we replied, "Super Bowl?!"

So we were GONNA head up to a rave called The Church, but we decided it
would be better to drink and watch Iron Chef instead.  Some of us even
thought it might be good to drink in the elevator.  Thank goodness someone
put chairs in there for us to sit on.

Amy got Loren and Maggie to take us to Value Village!  It was my first
time there!  Not many pictures, but I got a neato(FREAKING WOMAN'S) coat,
and some 7 year old palmade for my newly punked red hair.  Wheee.

Gibby stole my camera once whilst I was doing something that needed no
camera for a day or so.  Here are the pictures he taked.

Really good times, good snacks, underage drinking and fireworks for a bunch
of the HFA c/o '99 crew!  Whoo-pow!

The first pics I took with my camera that I actually saved.  Got it around
new years, so all the christmas stuff was still up.  Little Mindy really
likes my camura.
